Cat Walk
Supermodel: a sex symbol, an elite group with a worldwide reputation, a highly paid fashion model.
When Helena Christensen was asked to define the word, she put it quite perfectly "They all had interesting personalities and were fun. They were versatile in their way of posing and expressing themselves. They had a certain depth to them that made you interested in more than just the facade."
Cat Walk is a documentary made by Daniel Wolf that follows the life of Christy Turlington during Paris Fashion week 1994. She's joined by the supermodel brat pack of 90's which includes the likes of a very young Kate Moss, Noami Campbell, Yasmin Le Bon and Helena Christensen. The short film also provides a behind the scenes look at how fashion royalty John Galliano, Karl Lagerfield, Giorgio Armani and the the late Yves Saint Laurent run their shows.
The rawness of the footage makes it that much more enjoyable. The girls are honest, fun, daring and full of life, you cant help but just watch in awe.

LIFE'S JUST ONE BIG JOKE
"She's something of a lunatic, Abbey Lee. Next she's telling me how a model should always carry a spare thong in her bag, and how her pet lizard, which is called Annie Hall, likes to sit on her shoulder when she goes down to the pub.
With a long list of tattoos "I've got one on the palm of my hand, a peace sign on my finger, a little owl, and two new ones on the side of my stomach. i had them done in white ink so i can still model- it means they're invisible." Then there's her secret pin-and-ink job. It's supposed to say 'truth' but reads more like 'bacon'. If you get bored with the tattoos, there are always the piercings- 10 of them in total: nipple, nose, belly and seven in her ears."
This experimental side helped whispers that Abbey was sleeping with a fellow model, the lesbian Freja Behar.
Rumours???
Well the recent Terry Richardson shoot which had the girls posing naked didnt help the issue, but Abbey's not fussed.
